Archer Valve Positioners, Limit Switches, Valve Monitors & Accessories

Products

Archer Automation offers a complete line of valve positioners and position monitors engineered for the demands of modern process plants. Whether you need precise modulating control of a flow loop, reliable open-and-closed confirmation on an on-off valve, intrinsically safe operation in a hazardous area, or digital communication back to your DCS, you’ll find the right product family below.

Every product we sell is built to premium specifications, carries global hazardous-area certifications where applicable, and is supported by engineers who can help you specify the correct model for your application — by valve and actuator type, signal protocol, ambient and process conditions, and enclosure rating. Detailed data sheets, dimensional drawings, and certification documents are available on each product page. If you need help selecting the right configuration, please reach out — we’re happy to walk through the application with you.

Electro-pneumatic positioners accept a 4–20 mA control signal from a DCS, PLC, or controller and convert it to a pneumatic output that drives the valve actuator to the commanded position. They are the workhorses of modern modulating control. Choose the EPL for linear (rising-stem) actuators, the EPR for rotary (quarter-turn) actuators, or the Explosion-Proof EP for Class I Division 1 hazardous-area service.

Pneumatic-pneumatic positioners accept a 3–15 psi (0.2–1.0 bar) pneumatic input signal and deliver a high-volume pneumatic output to position the actuator. They are an ideal fit for all-pneumatic control loops, legacy installations without electronic instrumentation, and applications where the simplest possible signal path is preferred. The PPL serves linear actuators and the PPR serves rotary actuators.

Our smart positioners are microprocessor-based, fully self-calibrating, and equipped with HART digital communication for remote configuration, monitoring, and diagnostics. They deliver the precision modern critical control loops require — along with the predictive-maintenance data plants are increasingly built to use. Choose the ASD-5000 for general high-performance applications, or the ASD-7000 for the most demanding control and diagnostic requirements.

Valve position monitors confirm the open and closed status of automated on-off valves back to the control system through mechanical or proximity switches. They are essential components of any safety-instrumented, process-shutdown, or remote-operation system. Our LSB series ranges from the general-purpose LSB-1000, to the weatherproof LSB-2000, to the explosion-proof LSB-3000 and LSB-7000 for hazardous-area service.
